Vintage cup cake with hand painted edible decoration

Since enjoying her beautiful china at Cake Eaters Anonymus, I have done a number of collaborations with lovely Sarah of Lily and Sparrow, most of which have been vintage wedding fairs like this one.

This evening however was something a lot more intimate – I delivered cake for a vintage tea party for 6! Although I haven’t got photos of Delish cakes displayed on Lily & Sparrow china onced they were set up, here are some before they left our kitchen.

(and yes they are not cake pops!)

Vintage Cake Pops

Now that I have recovered from the two days full of vintage-inspired wedding bonanza that was the Designer Vintage Bridal Show, I can tell you one thing: it was amazing! Brides (and some grooms) turned out in their hundreds to meet almost 60 exhibitors. I didn’t get a chance to meet all of the exhibitors myself but here are some that I did meet:

Natasha Jane headband

The lovely Natasha Jane personally hand makes each piece of vintage inspired headwear and bridal headband using Swarovski crystals and silver plated wire with freshwater and Swarovski pearls.

Pocket Typewriter

Pocket Typewriter design wedding stationery that will charm your guests from the start with its romantic yet stylish feel.

Charlotte Casadejus

Charlotte Casadejus for exquisite vintage wedding and evening dresses – just gorgeous!!

Blush Floral Design

Blush Floral Design (with a number 1 fan of Delish cake pops!) for fabulous flowers.

Vann-Thomas Design with offbeat wedding invites from photos, fabrics, and more.

Have a look at Ann-Kathrin Koch’s photos from the event and spot more Delish cake pops in Nick Ray’s blog post.

And for more wedding inspiration, don’t forget to follow the bloggers: BeyondBeyond, Boho, Love my Dress, OMG I’m Getting Married and Rock ‘n’ Roll Bride.

Don’t take just our word for it – read more about the event on BeyondBeyond and Fashion Mommy.
